Grey Sukabumi – Roman Pattern
Grey Sukabumi Roman Pattern is a volcanic andesite with a compact structure and subtle crystalline highlights. Arranged in a classic multi-size Roman pattern, it offers low maintenance, resistance to fungus and mold, and durability for outdoor and wet-area applications.
Material & Design Details
Grey Sukabumi Roman Pattern is a natural andesite formed through volcanic processes, characterized by its compact structure, volcanic glass content, and fine-grained crystalline composition. The stone often contains visible pyroxene crystals that create a subtle shimmering effect, adding depth and visual interest to the surface.
Formed by rapid cooling at low pressures, the stone combines crystals formed at depth with volcanic glass and microcrystalline material developed closer to the surface. This unique composition makes the stone dense, strong, and difficult to split by hand, ensuring excellent durability in demanding environments.
Presented in a Roman pattern layout, the stone is supplied in a combination of different tile sizes arranged in a repeating, classical pattern. This format creates a dynamic and elegant surface, breaking the monotony of single-size paving while enhancing spatial flow in both large and small areas.
Grey Sukabumi has moderate porosity and permeability, but its mineral composition provides natural resistance to fungus and mold, making it suitable for humid and wet conditions. Low maintenance is one of its key advantages, allowing the stone to retain its appearance with minimal care.
Common applications include driveways, terraces, wall cladding, water features, and swimming pool tiles. Grey Sukabumi Roman Pattern combines volcanic strength with a timeless layout, making it a versatile choice for architectural and landscape designs.
